Wayne Kimbrell and
Brian Smith brought a five fish limit to the scales weighing 10.07 pounds to capture the Coffeeville Open championship fished
out of Service Park on Saturtday, June 20. The tournament was the second stop of the 2009 Share the Gospel tournament
trail. Second place went to Bruce Tyson with a limit of bass tipping the scales at 9.79pounds and third place went to
the team of Chris Ikner and Greg Sheehan with a five fish creel weighing 9.36 pounds. Fourth place went to Chuck and
Skipper Smith with a limit of bass weighing 9.24 pounds and rounding out the top five was the team of Charles Owen and Jerry
Roberts with a creel weighing in at 8.62 pounds. The big fish was weighed in by the team of Cody Crager and Patrick
Williams tipping the scales at 5.29 pounds.
The third stop of the 2009 Share the Gospel Tournament Trail will be the Mt. Vernon Open fished out of Ft. Stoddard
Landing on Saturday, July 11. We will blast-off at first safe light, so please launch your boat and be ready to
go for there is another big tournament coming out of Lower Bryant the same day.
Our main focus is sharing Jesus Christ with everyone we come in contact with ..... through our words
and our walk! Our prayer is for each one of you to come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord! May God Bless you and keep your baits wet!
