Guidelines for CLASSIC participants:
1.) The 2008 CLASSIC will be a 2-day event. There will be NO off-limit
period prior to the CLASSIC.
2.) If you cannot fish the CLASSIC, please notify Rev. Howard Gaston
at (251) 847-3502 or (251) 232-1940 as soon as possible so the next eligible qualifiers in the final standings can be
notified for participation.
3.) Day 1 blast-off will be according to the final order of finish in the
2008 tour championship standings. Day 2 blast-off will be in reverse order of Day 1 blast-off.
4.) Weigh-in will be at 3 PM each day.
5.) The Blazer Boats Big Bass Award for each day will be $250 sponsored by
Blazer Boats.
6.) There will be a voluntary pot to add to the winnings of the top 5 finishing
places in the CLASSIC. Each team who chooses to participate will pay $40 per team and the payout will be as
follows:
40% of total pot - First Place
25% of total pot - Second Place
15% of total pot - Third Place
10% of total pot - Fourth Place
10% of total pot - Fifth Place
Your team must participate in the pot to receive the payout from the pot.
7.) NO SUBSTITUTES may fish the CLASSIC unless a emergency exists concerning
a team member and this situation must be brought to the attention of the Tournament Director prior to the opoening day of
the tournmament.
8.) The Guest House Inn will provide rooms for $61.02 per night. Check in
